Fess Parker Reisling California - 26

Light Straw Yellow in color. On the nose there are fresh citrus and floral aromas including lemon, lime, ginger, white flowers and fresh cut grass. On the  palate there are flavors of stone fruit. White peach, nectarine and citrus. There is a good acidity and minerality that is followed by a hint of sweetness.

 

Foris Rogue Valley Dry Gewurztraminer 2016, Oregon - 30                                                      

This outstanding wine should earn the somewhat difficult grape many new fans. It opens up beautifully, emphasizing spice and showing plenty of ripe fruit, from Asian pear, to pineapple to jicama.

 

Pavao Vinho Verde White Blend, France - 23                                                                                     

Medium in alcohol, Vinho Verde has great digestive properties due to its freshness, slight fizz and special qualities. It is a highly regarded wine, especially when served chilled for summer drinking. The malo-lactic fermentation gives it a distinctive taste and personality. The strong distinctive character and originality of these wines are the result of soil and climate characteristics, social-economic elements, grape varieties and the vine growing methods.

 

Robert Mondavi Fumé Blanc Napa 2015, Napa, California - 32                                        

90 Points – Wine Enthusiasts. Pithy, with grapefruit and lemon peel flavors, this wine is deceptively crisp and light on the nose, offering a wealth of body and lushness on the palate, accented with nutmeg and peach. It includes 4% Sémillon, partly from the winery's beloved To Kalon vineyard

 

Ferrari Carano Fumé Blanc, Sonoma - 30                                                                         

Delicious wine with aromas and flavors of yellow peach, pear, quince, Meyer lemon, mango. This wine has bright acidity and crisp freshness. Pairs well with Seafood, Poultry and Pork.

 

Manoir De La Firetiere Sauvignon Blanc, France - 32

"Manoir de la Firetière Muscadet Sèvre Et Maine is a mouthful to say, but very simple to drink. The name of the game here is bright, citrus flavors mixed with hints of minerality. Complexity is minimal, but that’s to be expected here, as this wine is more for drinking than thinking. If you’re having seafood, Manoir de la Firetière Muscadet Sèvre Et Maine is a strong choice.

 

Chamisal Stainless Steel Un-Oaked Chardonnay, California – 33

Central Coast, CA- Unadorned by oak to better showcase the pure freshly picked florals and flavors, this golden nectar presents a full range of bright fruits from white peach with cardamom to juicy melons and snappy apples to the essence of fragrant Meyer lemon flowers.

 

Landmark Chardonnay, Sonoma – 32

Smoky, toasty oak aromas and rich fig, apricot and melon flavors make this appealing and approachable..." Pair with white fleshed fish, veal, or cream based pastas for a delicious meal.

Tyler, Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir, California – 48                                                  

Great texture and presence abound, this spice scented and floral Pinot delivers pure black cherry fruit with a touch of saline notes.  Long finishing and lovely, enjoy this now and over the next five years while the single vineyard wines mature. Beautiful and unadorned, the 2015 Tyler Pinot Noir strikes the palate with unabashed purity. The wine's wild red fruit flavors, accented with dried herbs pairs it well with chicken.

 

Rodney Strong Estate Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, California 40

Lovely aromas of cherry and rose petals. With a soft and silky texture on the palate, cherries, pomegranate, floral and baking spice characteristics shine through with balance, acidity and a nice lingering finish. This medium bodied wine was aged for 13 months in small French oak barrels, which added a hint of toasty vanilla and spice complexity. 

 

Robert Mondavi Napa Merlot 2014, Napa, California - 45

A juicy, plush merlot delivering dark cherry and black plum fruits with deeply integrated spices of black pepper, young cedar and fresh tobacco. The wine’s rich texture and velvety tannins soften this bold, dark fruited, and spicy merlot.

The deep ruby colored Columbia Valley 2012 Merlot is a full-bodied, elegant, perfumed Merlot that gives up lots of cassis, sweet oak, black cherry and a touch of crushed rock in the hallmark elegant, balanced style of this estate. The tannin is present, yet ripe, and it has enough concentration to keep for a decade or more.

 

Gen 5 Ancestral Red Blend, California - 23

Five generations behind our estate vineyards; five grape varietals blended into this delicious red wine. Lush flavors of wild blackberry pie and blueberries with hints of mocha and baking spices. Comforting and inviting with its rich dark fruit flavors, creamy texture, and velvety finish.

Padrillos Malbec, Mendoza Argentina - 26                                                                         

The 2014 Padrillos Malbec is sourced from the Uco Valley, cold fermented in stainless steel with 20% inner staves. The wine is clean and straightforward with aromas of cherries and violets plus a faint hint of spices. The palate is fresh, medium-bodied, easy to drink. 

 

Piattelli Premium Reserve Malbec, Italy – 38

Rated at 90 points by Wine Spectator and the number 44 wine out of 100 the top 100 for 2015, this Malbec is elegant and full flavored.  From Wine Spectator:  “a striking, slightly smoky wine with a deep burgundy hue….fruity bouquet delights the senses and warms the palate.j  Notes of blackberries, blueberries, and lavender, linger with gentle tannins.  Finishes with subtle flavors of toasted hazelnuts.”

LaMadrid Single Vineyard Malbec, Mendoza Argentina - 33                                            

Hard-packed, concentrated black-fruit aromas are a signal of this rugged Malbec's character. It's blasting with toasty blackberry and pepper flavors, which are backed by spice, heat and a general sense of full but proper ripeness.

 

Robert Mondavi Maestro Red Blend , Napa CA – 60

A unique blend in this second rendition of Maestro, where a crescendo of dark, juicy plum and cassis fruit, violet, cinnamon, and unsweetened cocoa linger on sumptuous sips full of vibrant flavor and plush tannins. 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 2% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot


Bodegas Frontonio Telescópico Garnacha 2014, Spain – 48

Middle garnet. Red cherry, blueberries and minerals. Aromas of cedar and toasted from French barrels of 2nd use for 8 months. MLF made in concrete tanks. Dry, fresh acidity, mature finos tannins, complex flavors and integrated alcohol. Long and persistent in the mouth.

 

Clarendale Bordeaux 2013, Bordeaux, France 38

Predominantly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This producer also makes a white and a rose wine. Produced by Clarence Dillon Wines, in conjunction with the winemaking team from Chateau Haut-Brion.

 

McNab Ridge Winery, Mendocino County Skullflower Red Blend 2015, California – 34

An exhilarative blend of 3 varietals: 50% Zinfandel, 30% Syrah and 20% Petite Sirah

Aromas of dark berries and spice .. ruminating flavors of blackberry, raspberry and spicy cocoa.

Omen Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, California - 40

100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Duarte-Georgetown Vineyard in El Dorado County (65%), Rorick Heritage Vineyard in Amador County (25%) and Element 79 Vineyard in El Dorado County (10%). Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% new. From spices to cassis and dark cherry notes, the complexity of the blend transcends into subtle notes of leather and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is rich with luscious and elegant tannins. A very bold and powerful wine that is still approachable and balanced.

 

Edge Wine Co. Cabernet Sauvignon, California – 44

Blended by notable winemaker Ray Signorello, EDGE Cabernet Sauvignon drinks wonderfully now and will age well for five to eight years. Edge spent 16 months in French oak barrels, of which 35% were new. It is a blend of Cabernet and a small amount of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A cutting-edge wine without the cutting-edge price. Approachable, unpretentious and versatile, Edge pairs wonderfully with a wide range of cuisines.

Ripe pear, apple, guava, and a hint of minerals. A Solid bottle of Chardonnay that never disappoints.

 

Frank Family Carneros Chardonnay 2016, Carneros, California – 80

This Carneros Chardonnay is barrel fermented in 34% new, 33% once and 33% twice-filled French oak barrels for 9 months. While ageing on the lees, the wine was hand stirred regularly to promote depth and longevity. This highlights aromas of toasted brioche, baking spices, and candied lemon rind. On the palate, the Carneros Chardonnay is full-bodied and creamy yet balanced by its lively acidity; with nuanced flavors of yellow apple, lemon curd, baked pear, melon, and subtle hints of oak toast. Saintsbury Carneros Pinot Noir 2015, Carneros, California – 62                                               

Earthy in sage and black tea, this wine is lightly layered and seamless in texture, with an underlying minty flavor. Cardamom and cola provide a spiciness that persists along a road of great length and breadth. Absolutely Outstanding Pinot Noir

 

Thorn Merlot by The Prisoner Wine Co.2013, Napa Valley, California 65

Aromas of Savory Spice, Black Cherry and Mocha with Cedar and Blackberry. The entry delivers an elegant balance with flavors of Black Plu m and anise, along with hints if grilled rosemary and toasted Oak. Velvety chocolate tannins develop into a robust finish. An absolutely wonderful wine even for non-Merlot drinkers!

 

The Pessimist 2014, Paso Robles, California – 58

The latest red blend from legendary winemaker, Orin Swift, who is the silent partner in this new venture.   Gorgeous crème de cassis, black cherry, boysenberry, and toasted vanilla beans.  Firm yet elegant tannins, silky mouthfeel, lead to a long finish of black pepper, pipe tobacco and spicy oak. 

 

Orin Swift Palermo Cabernet, Napa Valley, California - 82                                                       

Deep and luring aromas of raspberry and ripe cherry are intermingled with accents of star anise, five spice and freshly steeped black tea. The entry is smooth with a combination of cassis and blackberry with a satiating suppleness. Ultra round and soft, the wine finishes with reverberating length. Aged for 10 months in French Oak, 35% new. Absolutely Fantastic Wine that pairs very well with our Hand cut Grilled 8oz. Filet and can even stand up to a slice of our slow cooked 14oz. Prime Rib.

 

Orin Swift Machete Red Blend, Napa Valley, California - 92                                                      

A brooding hue and viscous consistency, powerful aromas of creme de cassis, boysenberry, and ripe cherries are complemented by a soft minerality and hints of dark chocolate. The entry is smooth with dark plums and a charred meatiness that floods to create a velvety texture that lingers. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Proprietary Red Machete opens with scents of black forest cake, cassis and menthol with a medicinal undercurrent and a waft of chargrill. Medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy, it has a compelling earthy/savory character and a long spicy finish.

 

Conn Creek Anthology Red Blend 2013, Napa Valley, California – 85

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Anthology enhances the richness of their basic Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a denser, darker ruby/purple color. Loads of crème de cassis, licorice and floral notes. The wine is medium to full-bodied with supple tannins and a nice, velvety finish. It should drink nicely for 10-15 years."

Dom Perignon, France – 225

On the nose, aromas of almond and powdered cocoa develop gradually into white fruit with hints of dried flowers. Classic toasted notes give a rounded finish and denote a fully realized maturity.
